Summary
This Act establishes a Commission by the name of the Australian Human Rights Commission and sets out the duties, function and power of this Commission. It is the duty of the Commission to ensure that the functions of the Commission under this or any other Act are performed with regard for the indivisibility and universality of human rights; and the principle that every person is free and equal in dignity and rights; and efficiently and with the greatest possible benefit to the people of Australia.Australian Human Rights Commission Act 1986 (C'th) - None
