Summary of Changes from Previous Version

Inserted new clause 17(f) regarding hate speech following new section 93ZAA of the Crimes Act 1900 (NSW), which criminalizes the intention incitement of facial hatred. This amendment was introduced by the Crimes Amendment (Inciting Racial Hatred) Act 2025 (NSW) on 2 March 2025.
