Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The Schools HSC Assessment Guidelines incorporate requirements from the Education Act 1990 NSW, the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA), as outlined in the NSW Registration Systems and Member Non-government Schools Manual as well as the Assessment Certification Examination (ACE) Rules. Additionally, diocesan requirements are specified in the Schools Curriculum, Programming, Assessment and Reporting K-12 Guideline

The purpose of the Schools HSC Assessment Guideline is to provide information regarding assessment in Year 12. Students who satisfactorily complete Year 12 are awarded the Higher School Certificate (HSC).
