Summary of Changes from Previous Version

• inclusion of Eastern Rite Catholic Churches to the definition of Catholic families;
• amendment to the definition of Catchment area to â€~influenced by’ the Parish boundaries as opposed to â€~based on’ the Parish boundaries.
• inclusion of schools of a kind which includes special assistance schools and specialised (special) schools;
• inclusion of other specialised settings;
• requirement that outstanding fees are paid or a formalised payment arrangement is entered into to be eligible for priority 1 or 2 enrolment category;
• reference to a waitlist which is subject to enrolment prioritisation and may change due to a student of higher priority seeking enrolment;
• addition of exceptional circumstances which re-classifies the enrolment as priority 1 or 2; and
• reference to complaints and feedback process as set out the in Schools Enrolment Appeals Procedure.
