Summary of Changes from Previous Version
This policy applies to all tenants that live in a property managed by Hunter Community Housing which are governed by an agreement between the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) for the provision of Community Housing.
Community Housing tenants can apply for a transfer if their home is no longer suitable for their housing needs due to a change in circumstances. This is referred to as a tenant-initiated transfer request.
Hunter Community Housing may request a management-initiated transfer for tenancy or portfolio management needs.
