  • Fair Treatment GuidelineThe purpose of this guideline is to support the implementation of the Fair Treatment Policy at the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle (the Diocese).
    This guideline provides information about what may be considered as unfair treatment at work and includes, examples to explain the context in which this behaviour can occur and examples to illustrate what does not constitute unfair treatment.

    This policy sets out the obligations of all workers related to workplace bullying, harassment and discrimination to create a workplace culture where the principles of equity, justice, equal opportunity, dignity and respect prevail.
  • Fatigue Management ProcedureThe Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle (the Diocese) is committed to ensuring all workers are fit and well when undertaking work activities for the Diocese.
    This procedure will outline the obligations of workers and the Diocese in effectively managing the risks of fatigue and provide instructions on what actions to take if someone is fatigued or at risk of becoming fatigued.
