  • Accreditation at Proficient Teacher ProcedureThis procedure relates to the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle’s (the Diocese) implementation of the NSW Teacher Accreditation Manual (the TA Manual) developed by the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA).
    This procedure sets out the internal procedures for implementing NESA’s requirements for mandatory accreditation at Proficient Teacher for teachers approved to teach in NSW schools and Early Childhood Services (ECS).
    This procedure also supports compliance with the requirements of the Teacher Accreditation Act 2004 and NESA policies and guidelines.
